First Love Never DiesIt’s 6:45 in the morning, and Janine is going to be late for school. “Para!” exclaimed Janine as a jeepney passed by. 15 minutes and I would be late, she thought. Another jeepney passed by, and another “Para!” This time the jeepney came to a full stop. Thank goodness, she thought. She paid P7 for the fare. Janine arrived at school on time. But first, let me describe Janine to you. She is a simple but beautiful girl at age 13. Tall, fair-skinned, sweet mouth, pointed nose, straight hair, and eyes that are not so small nor big.
